Dentist, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Dr. Adarsh K. Desai's  Response
this is a tmj related problem...the clicking which is annoying you is due dislocation of the articular disk during jaw movement, well this occurs due to various reasons...what you can take care is
avoid wide opening of the mouth,
support your chin while yawning to avoid wide opening
restrict yourself to soft diet
and warm external massage over the tmj region
this would help, but wont be magic would take a couple of days to settle down
you can also take a analgesic with muscle relaxant

and if problem persist you need to visit a local oral maxillofacial surgeon in your vicinity
along with a tmj view and close mouth.
follow this and let me know how u feeling...i wish you a early recovery

hello dear
this is just a temporary pain
once you can relax your jaw muscles you will feel better in that pain for sure
then also better massage your gums with heclalava powder - a best homeopathic tooth powder to manage such kind of gum or jaw issues in order to strengthen your jaw ms and gums

better give some rest to those ms

all the best
