What Is The Solution For Watery, Mucous Stool After Taking Clindamycin?

hi.before 3 months ago an ent prescribed clindamycin 300 mg 3 times for 10 days,but after that till now i am suffering from loose watery stool and some time mucos comes without stool.i am ver upset.my lft test is normal and in stoo test mucous is possitive.Please help out me.

you might have developed C difficle infection which can happen after antibiotics course.
stop taking any antibiotics and take
1. Metronidazole 500mg three times a day after meals for 14 days.
2. take plenty of fluids

Meanwhile it is also important to prevent the spread of infection.

If possible, you should have your own room, washbasin and toilet facilities.
regularly wash your hands thoroughly, especially after each time you have been to the toilet.
Those caring for you should wear disposable gloves and aprons and wash their hands with soap and water before and after attending to you. Hand gel is not an alternative to soap and water but may be used after hand washing. This is because hand gel may not kill the C. difficile spores.
Toilets, surfaces, floors, bedpans, bedding, etc, should be washed regularly.
Visitors should also wear disposable gloves and aprons and wash their hands as they enter and leave your room.
