What Is The Remedy For The Tan On The Feet?

hi my foot where i put shoes got darkened due to exposure to sunlight and tan lines have apeared.my legs are fair but where i put shoes it's become 2 coloured skin: fair and brown. since march 2011, i got this tan.what cream should i apply to get rid of this tan and make the tan return to its original skin colour?please whta should i do?

Hello,
Thank you for writing to HCM.

Tan is very common in feet as we don't protect it from Sun, like we protect our face.

I would advice you to apply sunscreen lotion half an hour before going out in Sun. Sunscreen lotion should be applied every 4 hours. SPF more than 30 is recommended.
If you are working under Sun for a long time and if you are not able to apply sunscreen frequently then I would advice you to wear socks and shoe and cover your feet.

At night Apply Kojic acid 2% cream/gel over the affected area this will even your skin complexion.
