What Is The Correct Range Of A1C In A Diabetic?

Today my doctor called and said that he needed me to come in tomorrow. I believe it is because of my diabetes, which I have not been compliant with for a few years. Can you tell me what is normal a1c and what range is reason for the doc to have me come in the next day?

Hello

HbA1c between 6 to 7 % is considered good control of blood sugar.
More than 8 % of HbA1c indicates very poor control of blood sugar and may prompt a doctor to call this patient for diabetic care, control and treatment.
