What Is The Cause Of Pain In The Groin Due To Slipped Mirena Coil ?

Hi ive had a mirena coil fitted in 2010 and had bad groin pain since untill today i never knew it could be because my coil slipped. my practice nurse could not locate my strings can you give ma an idea why the pan sould be connected

Mirena is an intrauterine device which can predispose you to pelvic inflammatory disease and can cause a perforation of the uterus in rare cases.
I would suggest that you visit a physician as soon as possible and get an ultrasonography done. This will help us localize the IUD and will help us decide what is the best step forward.
