What Is The Best Remedy For Pain In Shoulder And Leg ?
Hello Doktor, MY mother is complaining because her leg and shoulder is in pain right now for almost a month. She can t stand alone because she said that her legs are really in pain. May I know the possible causes of this and what medicines she can take. She is already turning 78 years old this november

The pain in her legs and shoulder are due to osteoarthritis. She can do hot fomentation, apply local muscle relaxant ointment and take an oral pain killer along with a muscle relaxant for relief. If there is no relief, try consulting an orthopaedician.

Dear Joseph,thanks for choosing health care magic.As the age advances the wear and tear in bones increase and gives rise to this kind of pain.As she is 78 years old please do not try much with analgesics that is available readily without being prescribed by your doctor.Give her calcium rich foods like green vegetables,black dal,milk and milk products on regular basis along with oral calcium tablets as advised.you should also look for some chemical imbalances like uric acid etc.which may be adding to the problem.Talk to your doctor and seek help.
