What Does Three Well Defined Hypoechoic Nodules Seen In Posterior Myometrium Means?
IF A RECENT SONAR SAID THERE ARE AT LEAST THREE WELL DEFINED HYPOECHOIC NODULES SEEN IN THE POSTERIOR MYOMETRIUM LARGEST MEASURING 23X14 in my uterus.what does it mean.history of patient.patien known with uterine fibroids and right adnexal mass?demoid.there is a well defined solid mass with calcification seen at teh infundibular region of the uterus measuring 36x25x28 mm
The uterus has shown three well defined fibroids in the posterior wall of the uterus. These are small benign growths in the muscle layer of uterine wall. One of these is close to the infundibulum (an area of uterus close to the attachment or Fallopian tube). This fibroid is between 3-4 cm. There is also a dermoid cyst in the right ovary. again this is a benign growth in the ovary.
The management of both these conditions depend on the symptoms you are having, your age and what treatment outcomes are most important to you such as relief of pain, heavy periods, fertility issue etc. important, for now is that these are benign (NOT CANCER) condition. These can be investigated with scan and blood tests for tumour markers and treatment planned after the lock down is over.
