Dear Doctors please assist me in respect to my wife s pregnancy.. I need your advice urgently.. My wife s LMP was 07/07/2010 : GA (LMP) 37 WEEKS, GA (US) 36 WEEKS 2 DAYS. YESTERDAY WE HAD A SONOGRAPHY DONE AND THE REPORT WAS TWO LOOSE LOOPS OF UMBILICAL CORD IS SEEN AROUND FETAL NECK So reading this we are terribly frightened.. You have nothing to be frightened about. Many babies have umbilical cord around the neck. It is not going to strangle your baby even if it is tight since babies do not breathe inside the womb. They get their oxygen through the placenta. So please relax and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!
