General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Red rash with itching in diabetic patients indicates a fungal infection. I recommend to use an antifungal cream for local application such as Clotrimazole cream. I also suggest using Fluconazole 150 mg once.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
