What Does Bulky Uterus About 8.5 * 5.9 Cm Mean In Ultrasound?
hello doctor, i need your view regarding my report.i am 27 years old,married,want to conceive.i am not having my periods since 2 months.pregnancy test negative.so did ultrasound.result says there is bulky uterus about 8.5 * 5.9 cm and endometrium thickening about 21 mm.please help me.what does it mean.thank you

Yes the uterine measurements appears bulky, even endometrium thickness is increased. This conditions are seen in adenomyosis where uterus is seen bulky with cystic changes, endometrial thickness is increased in case of endometritis and proliferative stage ( before periods). Ovaries status not mentioned - presuming normal.
Treatment in this case will be hormonal therapy. Its necessary in order to conceive. Good luck.
