What Diseases Cause Hyperosmia?

I am trying to find information on diseases that cause hyperosmia. I am a researcher and cannot find much in the literature. I found a blog where patients with MS and ALS report hyperosmia. I find it odd that there is no information in the primary literature.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you want to know that what disease causes hyperosmia . Well this is the condition where there is increase sense of smell . There can be many reasons responsible for this like genetical factors (very common) ,medicines like amphetamines and in some disease like Parkinson's Disease. It is caused by olfactory system and its disorders. Exposure to Toxic Chemicals and Nanoparticles, epilepsy and nerurodegenerative diseases are other possible causes. Treatment for this is based on cause of disease.
