I am on birth control but missed my pill and took it late a bunch of times. Around november 28-30 i had my period. Then in december i didnt have one, & had unprotected sex with my spouse the 25th of december, & the 4th of january, today is the 9th of january and im having a light pink blood on the toliet paper when i wiped lastnight and this morning, none throughout the day. After NOT having a period in December i took a pregnancy test around the first of january but it sais negative. I have more but waiting a few weeks to take them because im not sure if i took it too early or what? But its now january 9th and i havent had my period yet this month either.. Hi,
Thanks for the query.
As you have not taken contraceptive pills as per the guidelines the possibility of pregnancy cannot be ruled out.
And it is difficult to guess the time of ovulation also because of irregularity in intake of pills.
Urine pregnancy test kit may not detect early pregnancy sometimes.
So, wait for one more week.
If you do not get withdrawal bleeding even after one week, go for blood test for pregnancy.
Blood test can give accurate result compared with urine test.
If test shows negative result, you can continue your pills irrespective of withdrawal bleeding.
Better to use pills as per the guidelines in future.
