What Contraceptives Are There To Avoid Pregnancy ?
hi doc, i just want to know if there is an early signs of pregnancy if you had sex two weeks from then? is there contraceptives that would do? i had sex last Aug 15. and my menstruation was last Aug 4-8. im not safe right? is there contraception to make me menstruate next week? i am 24 yrs old.

Read your prob, you had unprotected sex during unsafe period so more chance of getting pregnant. if once you get pregnant then there is no role of contraceptive. you should take pills for abortion after advising your doc. do not take any drug without advising.

You need to wait for your period which should be on September 4th probably. If the period is delayed by more than 10 days from this, then there is chance of pregnancy. Do a Pregnancy test 7 days after sex to find out if you are pregnanct. If periods are delayed and pregnancy test is negative, possibility of hormonal disturbance is there. Now there is no contraceptive effective. You need to take Emergency contraceptive 72 hours after unprotected sex to prevent chance of unwanted pregnancy. Consult your Doctor on this and follow up. Use condom to prevent unwanted pregnancy and STDs.
