What Causes Vaginal Discharge During The 8th Month Of Pregnancy?

i think im 8 months pregnant, pregnant test kit says negative, ultrasound there is nothing showing. Im having all the pregnancy symptoms, but now im having vaginal discharge with blood. Ultrasound report is saying The uterus is auteverted, normal in size and echotexture. The endometrial echo measures about 12.7mm. there is a 23mm long x 12.8mm wide hyperechoic lesion in the cervical canal. The ovaries are prominent and hypoechoic, especially the left ovary. The right ovary has a volume of about 27cc. The left ovary measures about 28cc. No other abnormality seen. I FEEL SOME MOVEMENTS 1. moderate endometrial hyper-plasia 2. In view of lesion in cervix malignancy should be excluded 3. enlarged ovaries this is my 9th month

Hello ma'am and welcome.

If you are in your 8th month of pregnancy, you need no other signs or symptoms of pregnancy. All you need to check is the viability, fetal heart sounds, etc. There needs to be a biopsy conducted of the lesion in the cervix. In my opinion, this has most probably caused a change in your hormone levels and possibly even vaginal pH which is causing the vaginal discharge.

As long as the cervical lesion is not large then there is no real threat right now and pregnancy can be completed, but it will most certainly have to be investigated to rule out malignancy, best done after delivery as you have only a few days/weeks left for term.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
