What Causes Uncomfortable Feeling In Throat?

i had surgery 2 weeks ago and they used a breathing tube. a week ago i started feelin like there was something in my throat and it will not go away. i also have no gag reflex whereas i did before. could this be from the breathing tube and will it go away. my surgery was to get my gall bladder removed

Hi, during surgery to give general anesthesia a tube will be passed in your airway, in some cases minimal trauma can lead to irritation and foreign body sensation in throat, if trauma was severe your voice will change and you will experience severe pain while speaking. It will have no effect on gag reflex.
