What Causes The Appearance Of Spot On The Chest X Ray After Recovering From Bronchitis?
my daughter was in the er two days ago and recieved a chest x ray. She was clear for any phemonia or brochitis but the ER doctor found a small quater size circle on her right chest and he didn't know what it was. It was sent to radiology and her Pediatrician told me it was something called a Hilum something that is common in a pediatric x ray is this true and why have they not noticed this in prior x rays?
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. You are mostly talking about hilar lymphnode. Bronchitis can cause enlargement in hilar Lymphadenopathy. And this gives spot on chest x ray. It is common on children. So no need to worry much. It resolves itself once bronchitis is resolved. So don't worry about this spot. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your daughter. Thanks.
