What Causes Severe Pressure In The Nose Having High BP?

I m on Medicare. I haven t had any bloody noses recently however I feel a lot of pressure in my nose... I may have blown my nose too hard.... not too sure I put powerful flashlight into 1 of my nostrils seems to be a red blood sac present but it s not really in the front of my nose its way in the back is that normal???? Or should I head to the emergency room. I have had high blood pressure for a while but recently my doctor told me it s excellent and even cut my dose in half.

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Your blood pressure is under control , so maintain it by regular drug taking and low salt diet with more exercise ....

Here in your nose your red sac inside nose might be nasal polyp ....
Or it could be deviated nasal septum ....

So I suggest you to get your rhinoscopy nose examination to visualise interior of nose .....
If polyp is there it could be allergic polyp ..
For which steroid or antihistaminic drug needed .....

If needed biopsy can be taken from polyp ..

If polyp not resolving than surgical excision needed ....

So consult otorhinolaryngologist for that. .
