What Causes Breathing Difficulty Through Nose With Bleeding?

Im 15 and since october Ive been having problems with my nose. I cant breathe out of it at all anymore and a weird smell comes out of it only sometimes. I get alot of nose bleeds out of just this nostril. During some periods of time my nose is very runny and sometimes its not but no matter what i cant breathe out of it just the other. I fear im losing the ability to breathe out of the other one now. Ive been to my doctor several times but what he prescribed didnt help.

Hello,

It may be Epistaxis. Pinch nose for 10 mins. Apply ice pack. Sit in the chair. You may require nasal packing after consultation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
