You probably have plantar fascitis which can be due to calcaneal spur or bony outgrowth at the heel. Is the pain worst in the morning when you wake up. You need to lose weight if you are overweight. You can take pain killers under medical supervision for the heel pain. Better to get an X-ray of feet to look for the spur. An Orthopaedician will help you in the diagnosis and management of this problem.
