What Causes Severe Cough And Pain At The Back Of The Throat After Taking Treatment For Pneumonia?

I just finished a two week round of antibiotics. I was told I had pneumonia and a sinus infection. I was feeling better but a day or two after I was done my cough came back and now when I sneeze the right side of my throat hurts a lot. what could be causing this?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You may be having a recurrence of your infection or it is possible that you were re exposed.

If the coughing and discomfort continues or worsen, it may be best to see your doctor for a review.
You may not need antibiotics but assessment would determine this.

I hope this helps
