Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello,

Poor chest expansions, breathlessness, crepitation in axilla and mid zone are suggestive of lung infection (pneumonia).

So, it is better to take the patient to hospital and get done clinical examination of respiratory system and chest x-ray. Chest x ray is must for the diagnosis of pneumonia.

This patient will need hospitalization, oxygen, Intravenous antibiotics, fluids and other supportive treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar
