What Causes Pain In Ears And Jaw With Double Vision After Taking Radio Iodine Pill?
I HAD MY DOCTOR RUN BLOOD TEST ON MY April 15,2011. I told her I feel some thing is wrong with my body. I took the up scale scan and It came back that I have Graves disease and a over active tyroid, and 2 nodules, 3 and 4 cms. On May 24,2011 I took the radio iodine pill. And a week later I feel sick, head and ears hurting. neck and jaw pain, chills some double vision,depressed. And all my primary doctor or the endo doctor can say is drink lots of liquids and wait until my June 24,2011 blood test. and they will read the results on June 28,2011.

Drink plenty of liquids to help flush out the radioiodine from your body. In the meantime, you may want to keep track of your symptoms and report any changes or new symptoms to your doctors. It's possible that the symptoms you're experiencing are related to the treatment or could be a result of the Graves disease itself. Hence, yes, they are right.
