What Is The Treatment For Fluttering In The Ear?
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...OK. I ve developed a regular ear flutter in my right ear. It s somewhere between 3 and 4 per second (without measuring it). Does anything like magnesium, iodine, or avoidance of certain foods cure it?

The commonest causes are as follows:
- There is continuous spasm of the muscles attached to the smallest middle ear bones like one develops in facial tics.
- Psychological disturbance.
- Eustachian tube dysfunction.
This can be diagnosed only by consulting an ENT Surgeon. Continuous monitoring of the eardrum endoscopically in real time can help to see for muscle spasms. If this is proved then a specific treatment can be done in the form of botox injection in the said small muscle. Also, the blood tests or calcium, parathyroid hormones, electrolytes can help to find any other causes and get treated accordingly if there is any positive findings. Please get diagnosed first.
