The two possibilities to explain your symptoms are a. cervical spondylosis- can be confirmed by an mri of the cervical spine b. trigeminal neuralgia. I personally think this goes more in favor of the former diagnosis. And therefore an Mri is a good option. I will suggest meeting a neurologist cause the symptoms can be differentiated on the basis of examination.
