What Causes Nosebleeds And Lightheadedness While Having Epilepsy?
My 15 year old son has epilepsy (complex partial - total of 15 over the past 8 years - each seizure lasts only about 1 - 2 minutes) diagnosed at age 7 started Depakote ER gradually increasing dosage as breakthrough seizures occurred. Currently on Depakote ER 750 at night and Keppra 250 at night. Last seizure was one year ago and that was when Keppra was added, we are now stepping down from Keppra due to 3 day EEG coming back nml. He is having nosebleeds with lightheadedness. I am concerned?!?!?

Treatment should be continued
I think in my experience that the symptoms your son is suffering arent related with current treatment
You should discuss with your doctor and schedule some blood test and ororinolaringolosist examination
