What Causes Nasal Blockage During Early Morning?

Hi, I am 45 yrs old male. I always have nose blockage (left) near 5 or 6 o clock in the morning. What is the cause of that? I tried nasal spray and it doesn t work. The doctor recommended me for cryotherapy. I would like to know what this procedure is, would it solve my problem? Is there any side effect or permanent damage? Would my symptom gets worse? Thanks.

Hello,

You may be suffering from nasal obstruction which may be due to turbinate hypertrophy. Other possibilities like tonsillitis or adenoids or deviated nasal septum.

For reduction, they are using cryotherapy. Until, for which procedure you are undergoing not know, then it is difficult to discuss.

Please post for which procedure you are undergoing.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
