What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain And Missing Periods?

I missed my period for 9 days, 3 negative pregnancy tests and now I have mild lower abdominal pain. I am also under birth contrl pills for 2 years and never missed my period never ever except for my first pregnancy. If I am not pregnant, what would be the reason for that?

I've gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety.

If you are taking the birth control pill without missing even a dose & having missed period, the chance of pregnancy is less. Also your HPT results came negative.

Missed periods might be due to the hormonal combination in the pills & it is very common in few women.

Wait for a week & watch for your cycle & also watch for symptoms of pregnancy like breast tenderness, nausea, fatigue etc. Repeat one more HPT, if it is positive, then stop taking the pill.
