What Causes Double Vision And Brain Fog?

Hi.i am 28 years old.was diagnosed with chiari malformation type 1.well it all started that i had a severe headache at work and severe vertigo.having been given the doctors run around and being in er several times they did an.mri and found the malformation.i finally had decompression surgery in october last year with duraplasty.none of my symptoms ever went away...thats headache on the left side of my face, constant vertigo, blurred vision etc.now if been with the best specialist of spain and after all it turned out i didnt need surgery and chiari is not causing my problems!!!! The symptoms get severe upon moving, especially when i lift my left arm....the vertigo is extreme.when the headache kicks in i get feeling of parelysis, facial numbness on the left side of my face and serious ataxical episodes.my vision gets grey and sometimes i have double vision. I also suffe brain fog and several times and get lightheaded and feel like passing out. I really know a lot about the. Malformation and agree that this is not my problem.i was also checked for craniocervicL instability that i dont have.could this all be a vascular issue?like thoraric outlet or bow hunter syndrome?i ve seen so many doctors and would like to know where to turn to....my spine was checked too btw...thanks for answering.i am desperate

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having Arnold chiari malformation. This leads to raise of intracranial tension. The causes for double vision is because of raised intracranial tension. These symptoms are not because of vascular disease. All these symptoms are because of raised intracranial tension and double vision can be because of cranial nerve palsies.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for treatment of raised intracranial tension.

Thank you
