What Causes Delay In Periods And Soreness In Nipples?

Hi there, I have very irregular periods and I have not had one since December (7 months ago), I have seen a gynaecologist and we are trying to conceive but are not ready yet to go the route of clomid and all the other drugs. This past week my nipples have been hurting, anything touching or rubbing on them hurts which I have read could be from being estrogen dominant. My gynaecologist did not really give me much information and I feel like I have no idea what is going on with my body. I know it is unlikely to get pregnant without a period and I have pcos so it is even worse but it is possible? My nipples have never hurt in June past and now they are.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is definitely possible to get pregnant despite the absence of regular menstrual cycles. So, please be advised to take a home pregnancy test and follow up with your ObGyn.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
