What Causes Coughing And Chest Pain During Pregnancy?

hi there, im 36+6 weeks into my pregnancy, for the last 6 weeks i have suffered a cough which has got progressively bad, its causing me chest pain, and breathlessness. its a dry chesty cough which can cause wheeziness. it was so bad 1 morning that i had to see an out of hours doctor who gave me a blue inhaler, but this does not help or ease my symptons. any advise?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Cough and chest pain in pregnancy can be due to respiratory problems or cardiac problems. I would suggest you to consult a physician so that proper examination, investigation including echo can be done and further management should be done accordingly.
