HELLO DOCTOR IM A HYPERTHYROID PATIENT IN TAKING CARBIMAZOLE TWICE A DAY AND PROPANOLOL 40MG ITS CONTROL MY TSH AND T4 BUT FOR THE PAST 1 MONTH IM GETTING CHEST PAIN I FEEL MY CHEST LIKE PORKING WITH NEEDLE IM REALLY GETTING AND ALSO IM GAINING MY WEIGHT

Hello,
Please check your TFT to see if you are developing Hypothyroidism ( TSH will go high and T4 will come down). Your weight gain, pins and needles sensation etc can be due to that. Chest pain also could be that. Poking sensation in chest as if pricked by a needle is usually due to pleurisy ( inflammation of covering of lungs). However you must visit a doctor and get chest examination + ECG done. Please get TFT done soon
