Hello, Carbimazole has many side effects most of which include mouth ulcers, a sore throat, fevers, or usual bruising. I did review the rarely seen side effects of this medication and I did see one reference to it causing nerve pain. In my experience I have never seen this occur, but the literature does say that it is at least possible. I couldn t find any additional information on the type of nerve pain, regions of the body and mostly affects, so unfortunately any more information than that. In my experience this would be a very unlikely side effect of this medication and I would encourage both you and your doctor to explore other possible sources for this discomfort. Take care.
