What Causes Chest, Neck, Jaw And Ear Pain Intermittently?

Hi, a few times in the last couple weeks, I have had terrible chest pain on the right side that will radiate up thru my neck and jaw and also cause pain in my ear. the first time it lasted about 20 minutes and i thought i would pass out. the last couple of times it was the same pain but only lasted about 5 minutes. I've never had this before so i hav no idea what is going on..any ideas??

Hi,
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your query.I think I may be able to help you.

The symptoms of the query are quite suggestive of a cardiac condition. Yes, I am aware that the cardiac conditions are usually localised to the left side. Still, the literature has shown that the cardiac conditions can also be right sided.

The radiation of the pain (from chest to jaw) is also a feature of cardiovascular disease.

I think I would suggest that you have tests- am echocardiography and ecg and if necessary, a TMT.
The tests will help us to make sure that things are going well.

Please feel free to contact us for more information.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible.
Best of luck.
Dr Mittal.
