What Causes Sharp Pain In Right Side Of Ear And Chest?

My MOm is currently having R ear pain that started like fluid in the ear and is sharp pain then it seemed to go down her neck/throat area and into the upper R side of her chest. Pain is now in the ear and sharp in the R side of chest. What can this be and what needs to be done

Hi,

Ear has no connection with the chest. But it seems that she may be having inflammation of the middle part of ear or Eustachian tube blockage. If the pain is severe then start tablet Augmentin 1 gm after food for 1 week. Take tablet Levocetirizine 5 mg for 1 week. Take proper steam inhalation. If the pain is less then take Nasoclear nose drop 3 drops twice daily and do proper steam inhalation.
