What Causes Blood In Sputum And Chest Pain During Pregnancy?

Hi. I am 11 weeks pregnant and have been sick to my stomach and throwing up almost everyday for the past 4 weeks. Tonight I was revisiting my supper and afterward I had spit up a little bit of blood ( very minimal ) and have chest pain. I was wondering if that is normal or if I should be seen right away. Thank you.

Hi,
You are having nausea and vomiting due to pregnancy and it looks like it is causing you major discomfort. The accompanying chest pain and blood stain should be analysed by a doctor .
Please do visit a doctor at the earliest to get evaluated.
Usually nausea and vomiting settles by the 5th month. so you will have to take precautions and medicines like doxylamine and pyridoxine.
Ginger is also known to help.
But do visit a doctor first.
Hope this helps .
Regards
