What Causes Bleeding During Intercourse After Hysterectomy?

I had a hysterectomy of my uterus only in November 2014. Recently I have started spotting. My concern is that now I am bleeding bright red blood during intercourse. Is this normal and what are possible causes for bleeding during intercourse? Thank you.

Hi,

1. As far as your question is concerned it is advisable to wait for four to six weeks to involve after hysterectomy so that the wounds get time to heal down.

2. Second of you are getting heavy bleeding every time then you must visit your doctor so that she can see that the healing of the organs and the surrounding area is fine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
