i am 42 years old, weight is 77kg. height is 1.85mt. my medical history has being very good. But for the past three months i have feeling discomfort on my right lower abdomen and a sharp pain on my back below my waist area now. i have gone for x ray and scan and nothing was seen. Please what do i do about this?
I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.
I think you suffer from colonopathy.
To relieve the symptoms you should follow these guidelines: 1. Avoid spicy and acidic foods. 2. Avoid alcoholic and carbonated drinks, coffee and milk. 3. Quit smoking cigarettes(if you smoke). 4. Take proton pump inhibitor medications such as Nexium.
Fibrorectosigmoidoscopy, liver function test, complete blood count and urine tests are necessary in order to check your condition.
Consult your gastroenterologist.
All the best. Dr. Behar.
