What Can Be Done To Release Pressure And Pain In Eye?
ad developed eye problem i.e., detachment of retina last year. Had got her operated for retinal attachment and was told that the operation was sucessful and the oil injected was removed after 3-4 months, and at the time of oil removal the doctor felt that there is a trace of initial cataract on the same eye and we perform cataract operation at the time of oil removal from the left eye. But unfortunately she did not get back her vision on the other hand her eye has become red and her pressure in the operated eye became 40. she was asked to take diamox tablets, dorsox, combigan and lotepred as eye drops. it didn t help. Now her eye pressure has gone upto 60 and i was told that the eye got blocked totally cornea got attached and a physical invasive surgery to be done to atleast reduce the pressure and pain and regards the eye sight nothing can be done. Can somebody advise me if anything can be done at this stage to get her back her vision. Her right eye is ok and eye pressure is 14.
