What Are The Effects Of A Spider Bite?

Hi. Last night i think i had been bitten by a spider....today i noticed a sort of itch on the back of my leg...then i saw that a pus filler blister had formed with a slight red ring...i drained the blister, the pus being a little murky, and the red ring has since seemed to have grown and spread inwards. Though there is no pain. 20, female, iron deficient.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

From the information you have provided, this wound seems to be increasing in size and there is a possible infection. I will recommend that you get it examined and managed accordingly by your doctor. There is no reason to take chances as you may require antibiotics for complete treatment and this is only possible through a prescription. If possible, send a photo to us for review as well.

I hope this addresses your query fully. If need be, feel free t contact us again.
