My father has been diagnosed with polycythemia. My father was recently discharged from the hospital two days ago. Before the hospital we found him in the toilet in a weak and unable to move. We are confident that our father fall or fainted.
According to his doctor my father suffered a stroke as a result of blood thickness in his body.
An x-ray has been made ​​as well as the CT scan and in accordance with that there was a thrombus in his brain as much as 3 millimeters.
My question is how serious is this disease to my father and what action has to be taken,thank you.
