What Are The Benefits And Drawbacks Of Mononessa Pill Taken To Regularize The Periods?
I have been on mononessa for over a year, due to my heavy and painful periods. The medication has made them so much better, my father wishes to take me off the pill, due to possible side effects. What are the benefits of mononessa? Maybe hearing the benefits vs the risks will help weigh his decision.

Combined contraceptive pills prevent pregnancy, regularises period,reduces cramp,prevents against certain forms of cancer.
Disadvantages are Breast tenderness,Changes in weight or appetite,mood changes, Nausea, Vomiting, Loss of scalp hair, Headache, Dizziness. Long term use can also cause serious adverse effects like stroke or pulmonary embolism.
