What Are Chances Of Pregnancy With Degenerative Disc Disease?

I am a 28 year old female and have been in great health until recently. I have never been overweight. I am 5"5 and weigh 135 lbs and have always been healthy and active. I have been diagnosed with severe degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, a synovial cyst, and osteonecrosis in my hips. I was just wondering if this will affect my ability to conceive? I have a 3 and a half year old son and had a c-section with him that was unplanned and I actually ended up pu lling 3 internal stitches from it.

Hi
Welcome to healthcare magic
After going through your query I think You are suffering from generalized degenerative disease of joints involving spine. You have spinal stenosis and osteonecrosis in my hips. Analgesics such as diclofenac slow release tablets is helpful in pain relief. Diacerine and glucosamine sulfate protect cartilage from breakdown and help in cartilage regeneration. Serum vitamin D test is advised and if it is low than vitamin D supplementation will be required. You are worried whether it will affect ability to conceive.I think these have no problem in your ability to conceive. You can discuss with your treating doctor. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
