Could The Problem In Throat Be Due To Scleroderma Or Throat Cancer?
Is there any possibility that my recent diagnosis of esophageal cancer could have been improperly diagnosed, and is really some other condition? I only say this b/c I also have Scleroderma, which I ve read can sometimes affect areas of the throat and present itself in much the same way throat cancer does.

There is high chance for esophageal cancer in patients with scleroderma. Once the diagnosis is proven by endoscopy and biopsy, wrong diagnosis is unlikely.
