Vaginal Cyst, Grows Smaller During Periods, No Fever Or Rashes. Causes For Cyst?

Hi i m XXXXX 27 years old. From last few months i m having problem of occurrence of some kind of vaginal cyst . the cyst used to get very small in size during and after few days of periods but it grows to 3-4 inches in size after that time and again when periods starts it gets small. i m not suffering from any kind of pain, fever ,itching and rashes because of that cyst. i have taken some antibiotics few months earlier but the cyst is still there. i m worried about it as i don t know what type of cyst it is and what can be the causes of it in sexual life. please help me ut in this matter. thank you.

Hi Dear thanks for your question.your having vaginal cyst which increases with your cycle ,that means the cyst is hormone dependent ,it grows as the level hormone progesterone increases with cycle and during period when progesterone level are low it become smaller in size .it didn't disappear with anti biotic.dear it is not an infected cyst which will dis appear with antibiotic.vaginal cyst are usually bartholin cyst,due to retention of screations in bartholin gland, glands which are normally present in vagina.The best thing for you is to get this cyst removed surgically ,it needs very little operation can be done under local anaesthesia.Hope i answered your question .
