No, Bartholin cysts are not contagious and hence are not transmitted sexually.

Bartholin cysts form due to the accumulation of fluid involving a skin flap or infection. If there is abscess formation then the cyst can become very painful. Treatment option include sitz baths, antibiotics and surgical drainage till marsupialization which is the the most effective treatment.
