Used Minoxidil Solution To Treat Severe Hair Fall. Now Using Alembic Grocapix. Effective? Side Effects Of Mioxidil?

I used minoxidil solution 2% 2ml twice a day for about 41/2 years to treat severe hair lossas per dr's advice. But my hair loss has returned after discontinuing the above medicine. Now i have prescribed Alembic grocapix for the same. Is it more effective? Are side effects less than that of mioxidil? Is there any permanant treatmemt? Please answer.

You have used minoxidyl 2% for four and half years, got good result, but after stopping it again there is recurrence of hair loss.
Then your doctor prescribed grocapix.
Your hair loss is male pattern hair loss, so minoxidil as the correct drug of choice, grocapix is also a good drug, efficacy depends upon the individual variation.
As grocapix is also a good drug, you try it, and if it is not upto the mark you can switch over to the previous drug.This time you try to minimise the dose gradually and fix a low dose to be continued for ever.
Regarding side effects every drug will have side effects,if you have any problem with grocapix you can stop it.
