Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about what you experienced and the heightened concern your symptoms symptoms have caused you.
From the information you have provided, it is unlikely that the symptoms you are experiencing at this time are caused by an acute
HIV infection. The interval between exposure and onset of symptoms is too short to make this real. It usually takes 3-6weeks before any acute symptoms related to infection show up.
Your symptoms are suggestive of
pharyngitis or
infectious mononucleosis or a
flu. I will like you to get consulted and investigated for these symptoms rather than just associating them to HIV.
Your exposure at worst is real. You may not need to stay for 3months before getting a reliable test to exclude or confirm that you were contaminated if you can pay for the more expensive PCR test that looks for viral particles rather than
antibodies in the persons system. Ask your doctor about the possibility of doing this.
I hope this helps you. Please, in live, always try to put your interest first. You wouldn't consent for intercourse simply because the other person was pressing hard for. Please, reconsider this next time.
I hope you find this helpful. I wish you the best of possible outcomes.
Tanks fo rthis opportunity to address your concerns. If you should have any further questions, revert to me and I would gladly address them.
