Ultrasound Shows Anteverted Uterus, Isoechoic Endometrium, No Adnexal Mass Or Free Fluid In Cul De Sac. Meaning?
can i ask my ultrasound if wat is the meaning?The uterus is anteverted wiht smooth contour and homogeneous echopattern measuring 6.4x4.9x3.6cm.Cervix measures 2.4x2.6x2.6cm,closed.The endometrium is isoechoic measuring 0.69cm.Intact subendometrial halo.
The right ovary measures 2.4x2.5x1.9cm.
The left ovary measures 2.9x2.5xx1.6cm.
No adnexal mass seen.
No free fluid in the cul de sac.
Impression:
thin endometrium
normal ovaries
negative adnexae
The right ovary measures 2.4x2.5x1.9cm.

first of all your ultrasound report is completed normal.
it means that your uterus is in correct position and shape and has smooth surface without any problems.
the cervical dimensions are also within normal limits and it's opening is closes.
the endometrium(lining of uterus) is thin.this might be due to your getting the scan done after your periods.
both the ovaries are normal in size and shape
adnexa-the surrounding structures are norma or negative for disease.,
