Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
An infected implant in the leg may need implant removal along with an aggressive systemic antibiotic therapy to control the infection. Clinical examination is necessary to decide the severity of problem and further treatment.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
Regards,
