Taking Crisanta, Forgot One Pill, Took Two Pills The Next Day, Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding. Normal Symptoms?

Hi, I am taking Crisanta from past one year and one day I forgot to take pill so I took 2 pills next day.. After 5 days my periods started though it was not time to have period on that day..The bleeding continued for around 17 days and now it had stopped.Just wanted to know if irregular bleeding was due to missing one pill and then taking two pills on other day? Thanks

Hello
Most commonly, the irregular bleeding occurs after missing a pill.
However, bleeding continuously for 17 days is not normal.
Please consult your pill provider/gynecologist for a detailed evaluation of the problem
Take care.
